1:1 Technology Academy

Beginning in the 2012-13 school year, we became a 1:1 Technology Academy. This means that each student is provided with a personal technology device (tablet or laptop) for use during the school day. At Pettit Park our K-2 students use a variety of devices including iPads, desktops, and laptops. Our 3-5 students have HP Laptops. We strive to make technology more than just devices. Students and teachers are engaged daily in lessons that embed technology and 21st century learning skills into our work towards mastery of standards. Technology tools provide ways for students to learn, practice, explore, and present new knowledge and understanding.
