School Information
At Pettit Park Elementary, a Neighborhood Transformation Zone Academy, the staff is committed to student growth in both their academic and social-emotional learning. Students are provided daily opportunities to learn in academically, skill-based small groups. Teachers also provide students with an understanding of how their brain works, leading to students learning about neuroscience and how it supports their personal development. This holistic approach to learning begins in Preschool to make sure each child who participates in this program is prepared to succeed in Kindergarten.
Pettit Park offers a full-day preschool program for 4 year olds in addition to a half-day (AM & PM) preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds. The Pettit Park Community Preschool is rated Level 3 in Indiana Paths to Quality. Our preschool students are engaged in hands-on and interactive learning.
